Superpipe Contest Comes to a Close

We just finished up the 2010 Burton Am Series Superpipe contest, and it was a success!! There were a lot of hungry riders looking to take home some cash, but only three checks per division. This created some serious competition, which pushed riders to really send it. Stand out rider, Nicholas Sibayan, was lofting huge frontside nines the first hit, but had some troubles in the finals. He still killed it enough to grab the men’s best trick with that frontside nine. Jessi Huege made a quick $250 for the women’s best trick by boosting a stylish frontside five. For the main event, it was Casey Pletz who stole the show in the men’s division. He was linking all his tricks and doing it with smooth style. He was stoked to get that $750 check. Second place and a $500 check, was taken by Garret Weinert. He definitely new what he was doing and had a lot of fun doing it. In third place and $250 richer, we have Colin Tucker from Wisconsin. For the women’s, we had Jessi Huege in first, Jenna Dramise in second, and Allyson Carrol in third. All in all, it was an amazing event. We thank all you for coming out and making this happen. We also thank Burton for doing what they do best; dominating this industry. And don’t forget… Tomorrow is the slopestlye event. It’s going to get crazy, so make sure you come check it out.
