Fresh Snow
Due to inclement weather, Snow Summit’s Night Session has been cancelled for tonight, as well as the Analog Go Huck Yourself competition. We are currently experiencing mixed precipitation at the base area with snow at upper elevations.
We’ve received 2 to 4 inches of snow so far this morning and more snow is in our forecast through tonight! This is an El Nino year, and that means good things for skiers and riders like you! All roads into Big Bear are open, please read below for road conditions:
Hwy 330/18 from San Bernardino- OPEN- chains are required on all vehicles except 4WD and AWD with snow tires.
Hwy 38 from Redlands- OPEN- chains are required on all vehicles except 4WD and AWD with snow tires.
Hwy 18 from the High Desert through Lucerne Valley- OPEN- chains are required on all vehicles except 4WD and AWD with snow tires.
All vehicles including 4 wheel drives should always carry chains when traveling to the mountains during winter months! Keep in mind road conditions are in a constant state of change.
