New Snow Today and Blue Skies Tomorrow
Bear has 4 to 6 inches of new snow today and it’s still coming down! Not only do we have fresh snow but tomorrow looks like it’s going to be a great day on the hill under BLUE skies! El Nino has done good work so far leaving us with a season total of more than 10 feet… and it’s not even March yet! March miracles are Spring’s gift to pow hounds.
Road Conditions as of 3:10 p.m.:
Hwy 330/18 from San Bernardino- Open with chains required on all vehicles except 4WD and AWD with snow tires.
Hwy 38 from Redlands- Open with chains required on all vehicles except 4WD and AWD with snow tires.
Hwy 18 from the High Desert through Lucerne Valley- Open with chains required on all vehicles except 4WD and AWD with snow tires.
All vehicles including 4-wheel and All-wheel drives must always carry chains when traveling to the mountains during winter months.
