Welcome to the Life
Welcome to opening week at Bear Mountain. We’ve noticed some of your faces are new to the resort. It may be your first time skiing or snowboarding, or it may just be your first time in Southern California. Regardless, we’re happy to have you with us and we look forward to a good, long season with you all. For those of you who are unfamiliar with Bear Mtn., we cater to all different levels of riding. You can find beginner features over on Amusement Park and Hidden Valley, intermediate features in Central Park, and beginner to advanced features on Park Run (Chair 9). Bear is unique because in every feature, there are multiple ways to hit that feature. You don’t have to hit everything as you might perceive it. If you’re a little intimidated by a jump, then hit it as a hip first. We zog the sides of most of our jumps so that you can go off the side. This way you can build your confidence up until there is no uncertainty. Snowboarding is all about comfort and making it something you want to work at. All it takes is a good attitude and the willingness to have fun. You bring the good vibes and we’ll supply the fun!
