We’ve been pretty lucky this month with lots of fresh snowfall and a little more is in today’s forecast. So far we’ve received 4 to 7 inches of new snow and it’s still coming down. The snowmaking conditions are going to be perfect the next few nights and the conditions are amazing!

We recommend using Hwy 38- (through Redlands) or Hwy 18 (the back way through Lucerne Valley). Chains are required on Hwy 38 and Hwy 18 on all vehicles except 4WD and AWD with snow tires.  Chains are required in Big Bear.

Hwy 330 is closed below Running Springs. There is a detour through Lake Arrowhead however this route is much longer and not recommended, chains are required.
All vehicles must always carry chains when traveling in the mountains during winter months.
