War of Rails Postponed Until Tomorrow 2/27/11
Wow! Talk about a snow day! We’ve already stacked 18-20 inches of goodness, and it’s still coming down. We’ll be at a near 4 feet of snow within the last couple of weeks by the time this storm clears out. Although, this makes for amazing powder conditions and perfect machine groomed packed powder corduroy, it’s not that great for a contest. The skiers tried to run the course, but the speed and potential just wasn’t there. Clayton and the boys did an awesome job on the set-up and it will be a much gnarlier event with perfectly cut features and blue skies. We have some of the world’s top skiers here to battle it out for a nice eight thousand dollar pay check, making tomorrow’s event quite the show, to say the least. Happy powder day!
