Sunday’s Outlook – War of Rails Today!

Another weekend winter wonderland up in the high country and today is beautiful! A little chilly, but beautiful! The high is going to be around 32, but the wind chill could get pretty low, so dress warm. We have 24 inches of new snow on the mountain, giving us a total of over 4-feet in the last couple of weeks. The mountain is looking amazing! The mid winter conditions are perfect; so what are you waiting for?! Keep posted for new park up-dates as well; 4-feet of new snow means wonders for the park : ) Be sure to stop by The Scene today and check out all the action from Craig Coker’s War of Rails. Many of the industries top skiers came out for the event; it’s going to be WILD!

You also have to check out this week’s Sunday in the Park. We got some out-of-towners and some local dudes ripping it up this week.

Hwy 18 the back way thru Lucerne Valley and Hwy 38 thru Redlands are open with no chains required. Hwy 18 from Waterman thru Lake Arrowhead is open with chains required on all vehicles except 4WD and AWD with snow tires. Although it may take a little extra time getting here, the conditions are well worth the drive. The road conditions/closures are in a constant of change.
