“Big changes are coming this week.” -Clayton Shoemaker, Park Development.

Things are going to go off this week at Bear Mountain. Last week’s fresh snow and several days of snowmaking gave us piles to work with. We’ve already seen the reshaping of the top jumps and a couple rail resets and on top of that we have the Red Bull Plaza opening at the end of this week.

Today we have packed powder, 10 open lifts between Bear Mountain and Snow Summit ,and the most open terrain in So Cal.  Even though its windy down the hill, but it’s pretty calm up here.  The high is 35 degrees so dress in layers, and make sure to share some of your park pics on our Facebook.
