January is Learn a SnowSport Month

Accessible and affordable, Big Bear Mountain Resorts is Southern California’s Learn to Ski and Ride Headquarters. In partnership with the National Ski Areas Association (NSAA), Snow Summit and Bear Mountain are offering FREE rentals (up to a $20 savings) to first time beginners ages 8 and older who purchase a beginner lesson package throughout the month of January except January 7th & 8th and 14th through 16th. Take a look at our ski packages and snowboard packages. Lesson packages begin at $49 and must be booked online HERE.

Ticket Special for Nor Cal/Central Cal Pass HoldersWe have the most open runs and the snow coverage is very good at Snow Summit and Bear Mountain. Since the Northern California and Central California  ski and snowboard resorts are operating on limited terrain right now, we are extending a lift ticket special to season pass holders during the month of January. Bring your Nor Cal or Central Cal season pass to our guest services office for your 50% off Lift Ticket; valid Sunday through Friday non-holiday.
