Sunny skies are predicted throughout this holiday weekend and thanks to recent storms we are able to provide excellent midwinter conditions. Park Staff has features everywhere and made some all-new changes in the Gulch yesterday. This weekend is gearing up to be a fun one so don’t miss out on all the action going on here at Bear. With a bonus holiday night session tonight you can enjoy the slopes even after Bear closes by heading over to Snow Summit where all season passes are valid for all nights!

Enjoy this Presidents weekend on the slopes. Recent storms have made for excellent coverage and our Park Staff has been keeping everything in top shape. Sunny skies and comfortable temperatures are predicted through the weekend making for some fun in the sun. Once the sun is down the shredding isn’t over! This holiday weekend we will have night sessions at Snow Summit Friday, Saturday, and a bonus session Sunday from 3:00pm- 9:30pm and half-night from 7:00pm- 9:30pm.
Sunny skies are in the forecast through the rest of the week and weekend with a high of 49 today! The park is on point and we have a mostly machine groomed packed powder surface today. Buy one lift ticket and get the second one free of equal or lesser value must be purchased by Wednesday 2-13-13. This special is available on Adult and Young Adult tickets and valued up to $118. “Buy One Get One” is only available today and if these tickets are not used then, then each ticket may be upgraded by paying the difference from purchase price to price of current ticket rate.
At this time there is an elevated response in the search for Christopher Dorner. Hwy 330/18 (the front way) and Hwy 18 (Lucerne) are now open. Hwy 38 through Redlands is temporarily closed until further notice. We are in constant contact with the authorities and are currently operating as usual. Both Bear Mountain and Snow Summit are expected to be open tomorrow with full operations.
