We received 2-4 inches of fresh snow last night! With 18 inches of fresh snow on Friday and another 2 on Friday night, the weekend storm total is up to 24 inches! We’ve also had great snowmaking the past two night and will continue making snow as conditions permit. Hot laps, pow slashes, and leg burners were going down all day today! With the biggest storm of the year hitting Friday, attention turned from the park to the pow! With all this new snow there was no shortage of hooting and hollering as everyone chased down the powder. New snow obviously means some pow riding, but it also means Park Staff is fueled up to let their creative juices flow. Stay tuned for park updates coming soon! With the approval the San Bernardino County Sheriff Department both Bear Mountain and Snow Summit will be open with full operations today. We’ve received 12-14 inches of new snow so far and it’s still coming down! The storm is expected to last throughout the day, bringing us even more of the good stuff! Today’s high is 27 and tonight’s low is 6. The storm is expected to clear out tomorrow with mostly sunny skies on Sunday.
