1-3 Inches of Snow Last Night

We received 1-3 inches of snow last night! While this is not quite enough to open for the winter season its a sure sign of whats time come. The forecast shows highs in the mid-50’s and low-60’s so this winter weather won’t last but it sure is getting us excited for this upcoming season!  Typically we open for skiing and snowboarding mid to late November.  This sure is a good reminder to get your equipment out of the closet and take it to you local ski or snowboard shop for a tune-up and wax before we open.  Reservations for the 2013-14 [...]

All around town Mother Nature is showing signs of fall coming to an end. The colorful trees are starting to loose their leaves, frost covers the ground most mornings and Snow Guns can be seen all over the slopes. Now all we need is some cold dry air and the snow making can begin! As we start making snow we will have a better estimate of when our opening day for the winter season will be. TransWorld SNOWboarding Magazine recently released the highly anticipated results of its 2014 Resort Poll and we’re #3!
