Bring it on Mother Nature!

All around town Mother Nature is showing signs of fall coming to an end. The colorful trees are starting to loose their leaves, frost covers the ground most mornings and Snow Guns can be seen all over the slopes. Now all we need is some cold dry air and the snow making can begin! As we start making snow we will have a better estimate of when our opening day for the winter season will be. Keep checking back with us and we will keep you up to date with opening day predictions, park updates and new terrain park features!

The Bear Mountain Golf Course and Driving Range will be closed after this weekend.  Take advantage of a few more days to swing your clubs and book your Tee time now at (909) 585-8002.

Good ol’ Scotty Vine is a Bear Mountain team rider and one of our absolute favorites to watch kill it in the park. He not only is featured in Parts 1-5 of our BearMaTioN series (click HERE to watch them all now!) but has been in Flux’s Breaking Bear Part 3 AND has even released his own PostCard Series on SnowboarderMag.com with Episode 3 dropping November 2nd! ¬†Scotty has been a busy guy this past year traveling all over for his series and landing the first ever one-footed double backflip and we love always running into him on the hill. It’s always a blast to catch up with him and take some fun laps on Chair 9 to see what creative spin hes putting on his new trick!

Thanks for the update! This was a really helpful page. Also the last sentence in paragraph one should say, “Checking back with [us] and we…”

Ok its snowing, how come you guys arent blowing snow? The national weather service is predicting up to a foot of snow and you guys havent even acknowledge this storm. Kinda shocked to see you guys slacking after such a weak open last year. I really dont want to be riding chair one till December again. You have a great opportunity to be open to the top with easy, please use it, turn those blowers on and you could have a two foot base by Wednesday.

Greg- We have been checking the weather service and following the weather closely. In order to make snow we need cold dry air for it to stick and be quality. As soon as weather permits we will begin making snow and opening as soon as we can!
