Chairs 6, 7, and 9 are open today as well as all the runs accessed by them.  You can find features for all levels all over the mountain, but if you prefer the steeps, head over to Snow Summit and check out The Wall, Dickys and Olympic. The big news for this week is Bear Mountain Only season passes are good at Snow Summit from Monday, Feb. 6th – Friday, Feb. 10th. So come check out Westridge or just take some laps around the mountain. A change of pace is always refreshing and we’re sure you’ll have a good time over there.

We have quite a bit of events coming up this month and next month, so things are about to go nuts! Next Saturday, February 11th,  we have three different things to throw at you: we have the Never Summer snowboard demo (come try out a new Never Summer board), we have Power 106 with a live performance from Mac Miller, and we finish the day off with the Analog Go Huck Yourself contest in the late afternoon. It’s going to a crazy day and we want you to get a taste of the experience, so be HERE!!!

Temps stay pretty consistent this week with a high today of 51 and clear blue sunny skies. The weather has been great and the vibe has been following suite. You really have to go out of your way to be bummed out on days like these; the blanket of blue surrounded by a mess of smiling faces really demonstrates a stress-free atmosphere. Leave all the mumbo-jumbo of the day to day at home when you come visit us at Bear. We want you to relax, have fun, and take a little time to worry about yourself and what makes you happy.

We don’t control the weather, so we can’t really take credit for it being so nice. However, we can take credit for giving you Southern California’s best park and Southern California’s only Super Pipe. With over 150 different features designed for all levels of riding, you won’t  find a dull moment in The People’s Park. A new hip was added to Powder Bowl a couple days ago and other new features having being showing up on the regular. Whether it’s your first day up in Big Bear this winter or you’ve been riding everyday, we’re sure you will have some unforgettable fun today, and every time you come to Bear.

Now that your good and pumped up to ride, your looking at another beautiful day in The People’s Park. The high is said to be 57 and the skies are going to be that perfect California blue.
