We Had Our First Taste Of Winter

We had our first taste of winter overnight. Well, it was more of a tease than a taste. We had wind, rain and snow over the past 24 hours which forced us to close our Snow Summit Bike Park and Scenic Sky Chair for the day. Our plans are to re-open again tomorrow, Sunday November 2nd. For all you Downhill enthusiasts out there you can look forward to a “Hero Dirt” day!! Come play and ride in the mud with us! Well it’s officially our last scheduled weekend of skiing and snowboarding here at Bear Mountain. To celebrate we are throwing a weekend full fun events! Saturday is the annual Neff Beach Bash, and Sunday is the Spring Break Reggae Festival! Both events are full of specials and free swag. So come take advantage of the last snow turns before beach season is in full swing. The Peoples Park is still stacked with plenty of great features for intermediate to advanced rides. Extreme Winds

Due to extremely strong winds Bear mountain will be CLOSED today. We plan to re-open tomorrow during regular business hours.


Weekendz

The season isn’t over here at Bear Mountain! We’ve still got generally good coverage, an 8″-18″ snow base and terrain & features for everyone! This weekend on March 22nd we’ve got the Bear Brew Fest where you can taste 11 different types of craft beer. You can get six 4 oz. tastings for $9.25. What could be better than a beer fest AND spring snowboarding/ skiing ?? The following weekend we’ll be packing in the fun with the annual Neff Beach Bash returns on the 29th and a reggae festival on the 30th with bands such as Through the Roots []


We Made Snow Last Night!

We made snow last night in the base area and throughout the resort to help improve snow coverage and conditions. We will continue to make snow as the weather permits. The next few weekends around here are going to be busy! To start things off we are having the Bear Brew Fest this Saturday March, 22nd. We all love beer so why not join us for some tasting this weekend. Snowboard, Skiing and beer make for an awesome Saturday.
