The Opening Weekend Video has Arrived

The Bear Mountain Opening Weekend video is here, and it’s pretty sweet.   We will be open on Saturday and Sunday, Dec. 6-7, and we’ll reopen full time Dec. 12. You can use your Bear Only passes at Summit any time until then. Good things are worth the wait, right? We’ll be at the LA Convention Center Dec. 4-7 for SkiDazzle, the biggest winter sports expo in the nation. You can buy AND have your season pass printed on site – don’t forget, season pass prices go up after Dec. 7. If you’re in need of new gear, SkiDazzle is also []


One More Day

  Today is the last day of our season opener. We had a great weekend so far, let’s do it up right today. We even got to make snow last night! Riders are enjoying a solid 10-24″ base of machine-groomed, hard-packed powder. The cold weather means conditions will stay consistent throughout the day. Bear Mountain First Day Starts with First Chair

Bear Mountain is officially open, “HERE WE GO!” Starting strong with a top to bottom riding experience as we sprinkled in 25 features for you to hit. Chair 9 got it started this morning as the first chair got to the summit, riders and skiers got a taste of a park with a higher standard. It’s got to be premium quality, “Bear Built”, cuz that’s what you’ve come to expect from us. You’re gonna hit a park that we’re proud of.
