Come Enjoy The Calm Before The Storm!

You drove up to the mountain today and as soon as you got out of your car and felt the cold crisp air, you knew it was gonna be the start to a great week. Cold weather, new features & trails, and a forecast that’s calling for a chance of snow that might even last all the way to New Year’s Day! Our New Years Eve Party will take place in the Board Room with DJ SlipMatt as your entertainment for the evening. Bring your hair and make-up crew for the photo booth to capture the perfect NYE pic. New Trails Tomorrow!

Showtime and Hidden Valley are scheduled to open for business tomorrow, bringing our overall trail count up to 12! We’re still making snow and tonight’s super cold, dry weather means even more snow making! If you’ve been taking lessons at Bear, you can use your lift ticket over at Snow Summit and try your hand at one of their low intermediate or intermediate runs. The shuttles run every 30 minutes between the resorts, so there is no need to worry about parking. Not ready to throw in the towel yet? Snow Summit’s famous night sessions are going on all week from []

Happy Saturday, Bear Riders!

This morning you’ll find ticket windows and rental shops opening at 7:30, followed by the first lifts starting at 8:00. We’ve got 10 lifts in operation today servicing 10 trails, with 42 features, including a quarter pipe! When you’re done at Bear, roll on over to Summit for a night session! Summit begins night session at 3:00 and continues until 9:30. If you haven’t heard yet, we’ve got a great New Year’s Eve party planned. $20 at the door gets you champagne, appetizers and DJ Slipmatt as your host. This party is 21+.

Good news, everyone!

Locally-produced Ben’s Weather is calling for snow this weekend! Should be a great kickoff to the weekend. Bear is still planning to open for daily operations on Friday, Dec. 12. Right now the plan is to have Chair 1 open to start, and more as conditions improve. In the meantime, use your Bear Only pass at Summit this week. We just confirmed that they brought 6 skill-builder features back to Miracle Mile. Mammoth Mountain got top-to-bottom open last weekend. Now is a great time to upgrade to the 4-resort Cali4nia Pass. Details about this year’s New Year’s Eve party are []
