Storm System Rolling Through

Cold weather has hit Big Bear and we are taking full advantage of these great snowmaking conditions. Our system has been making snow for over 24 hours now and we plan to continue as long as conditions permit. Snowmaking plus the 3-4 inches of fresh snow we received yesterday means more runs and features! At this time all roads are open, for chain restriction information visit our snow report or Caltrans website.   We now have Chair 4 open accessing Exhibition and next on our list is the Halfpipe and Showtime. We will have season passes on sale with a show special of $30 off plus a FREE []

We received 1-3 inches of snow last night! While this is not quite enough to open for the winter season its a sure sign of whats time come. The forecast shows highs in the mid-50’s and low-60’s so this winter weather won’t last but it sure is getting us excited for this upcoming season!  Typically we open for skiing and snowboarding mid to late November.  This sure is a good reminder to get your equipment out of the closet and take it to you local ski or snowboard shop for a tune-up and wax before we open.  Reservations for the 2013-14 []

It Is Snowing!
