One Hour Forward or Back?

There are so many things going on this weekend, this Bear’s head is spinning. Today was the first day of High Cascade Snowboarding Camp. Riders are getting coached on their skill sets, polishing up on maneuvers to get ready for the TransAm 2015 Finals for next weekend at Bear. Daylight saving time happens on Sunday morning, March 8 at 2:00 a.m. If you’re wondering whether to go one hour forward or backward, the term “Spring forward – fall back” should help you remember. Amazing Day Repeats

Amazing day after another amazing day, this week is like the movie Groundhog Day where the same day keeps repeating on the next day. No complaints from us, we had the opportunity to make real snow while you were passed out. This will also be the first weekend after the storm…It’s going to be great! Mt Hood Snowboard Camp is Coming to Bear

After 9 inches of new snow from the recent storm, there’s a renewed energy and attitude in the mountains. Whether you started doing the snow dance correctly or you finally washed the car in the hopes to bring snow, something worked. Keep doing what you’re doing, because another storm is brining snow as soon as Friday night. Your mid-week riding should be great, then the snow storm this weekend and that should make for another great week of sliding followed by High Cascade Snowboard Camp (HCSC) on March 7th and 8th. Air + Style in the US for the First Time

Shaun White, born in San Diego, spent his formative years riding Bear Mountain. He was skiing until he followed in his older brother’s footsteps when White switched to snowboarding at age six, and a year later, he received his first sponsorship. White participated in three Winter Olympics so far. At both the 2006 and 2010 Winter Olympics, winning gold in the snowboard halfpipe event.
