Bear Is The Place To Learn

Did you know that Bear Mountain is home to the largest beginner area in Southern California? There is no better place to get your feet wet, as they say, in a new sport. Our Learn to Ski and Ride month promotion is on.  Purchase any Adult or Young Adult first time beginner-only learn to ski or snowboard package and receive free rental equipment. Riglet and all children’s programs will receive a $15 discount off of regular package price. Advance reservations required. Between both resorts we have 26 open runs, all lifts are available and more than 100 features, including our half pipe! []


Bear Vitals for Monday

Ticket windows and rentals open at 8, first lifts start at 8:30. We’ve got a 12-26″ base of mostly machine-groomed packed powder. Today is the first day of Learn to Ski and Ride month! Not Another Mundane Munday – Bear Is Open Daily

Bear is finally open for daily operations, blow off Monday and come ride. Park Run Face and the beginner’s area just opened today. You’ll get to experience the fruit of the Park Staff’s labor, 21 “Bear Built” features and we’re working on more. Earlier today, a new feature called, “Flowmaster” was set up right at Marion’s Tree. This new “Bear Built” feature is shaped like a wide up-down box with a propane tank at the top. At Bear, we welcome all levels of riders to continue your growth in the sport. Snow Sports School is open, with some awesome instructors. Even the little ones can jump []


First Time This Season…Bear Ski and Snowboard School Opens

Yesterday we sold out! A bunch of you got here early this morning and caught us in the act of making real snow. It started out as a frosty morning, but the sun is now out. Great day to open the Bear Ski and Snowboard School for the first time this season. BAM! We are now offering Lessons with our professional instructors so you can improve your style on the slopes! Night Riding

Night riding is back for tonight and tomorrow night! We all know your plans aren’t as great as having some night shredding plans. Come join us at Snow Summit for a night session from 3:00p.m. to 9:30p.m. Do what you love and come ride in darkness of the night. Dos Equis Air Bag Jump is back tomorrow!! For those of you that haven’t tried it, you must be 21 and over to launch off of it but it is FREE. If your not 21 it’s still fun to watch. Take advantage of it because the air bag is here for []
