Winter will be here before we know it and the anticipation is nearly killing us! I don’t know about you, but my office is filled with dozens of snowboard and ski magazines, YouTube is open in the background of my computer with Bear Mountain’s channel on repeat and our TV is playing one continuous loop of some of winter videos. Even my snowboard is waxed up and leaning up against the wall begging for a little fresh air. We received 1-3 inches of snow last night! While this is not quite enough to open for the winter season its a sure sign of whats time come. The forecast shows highs in the mid-50′s and low-60′s so this winter weather won’t last but it sure is getting us excited for this upcoming season! Typically we open for skiing and snowboarding mid to late November. All around town Mother Nature is showing signs of fall coming to an end. The colorful trees are starting to loose their leaves, frost covers the ground most mornings and Snow Guns can be seen all over the slopes. Now all we need is some cold dry air and the snow making can begin! As we start making snow we will have a better estimate of when our opening day for the winter season will be.
