Saga has been rapidly growing here in the Southern California Ski and Snowboard scene and the good people with the company have been showing our park some love! Last week Pro skiers John Kutcher, Steve Stepp and Dylan Manley from the Saga team were killing the park filming for Bear Necessities and team snowboarders Jeremy Estorga and Sean Whitaker recently filmed a Down Time here at Bear. This weekend we will have the Dos Equis Bag Jump set up again on Park Run Face. The bag jump is FREE for anyone 21 and older and opens at 10:00 a.m. and remains open till the end of the day. Also this weekend at Bear is the So-Gnar Freestyle Snowboard Camp. The camp is for all ages and includes instruction from pros, two days of lunch, and giveaways for the campers! Park Crew has out done themselves yet again with a new park that is ridiculously fun. Lower Park run is all new with a double jump line, Pole Jam and set-up jump! This weekend Dos Equis will be bringing an Air Bag here to Bear Mountain. Better late than never! After a month long warm spell and a snow drought we are back to winter. Roughly two inches of snow layered our slopes Thursday night and cold temps ever since have provided perfect snowmaking conditions. This cool trend is forecasted to last over a week and we will be taking full advantage of it. We plan to make snow at every available opportunity during this cold streak.
