We Got Some Snow!

Not a ton, but we received  nearly two and a half inches of new snow! Also in the forecast are some cold temps which could mean perfect snowmaking weather. Keep those fingers crossed, winter is coming!

Storm System Rolling Through

Cold weather has hit Big Bear and we are taking full advantage of these great snowmaking conditions. Our system has been making snow for over 24 hours now and we plan to continue as long as conditions permit. Snowmaking plus the 3-4 inches of fresh snow we received yesterday means more runs and features! At this time all roads are open, for chain restriction information visit our snow report or Caltrans website.   We now have Chair 4 open accessing Exhibition and next on our list is the Halfpipe and Showtime. If you haven’t seen the park lately there has []

More Runs, More Features, More Fun.

Today we are opening Hidden Valley and Central Park in addition to yesterdays opening of Amusement Park and The Scene. All season passes are welcome including your Bear Mountain only pass so head over there and check out their park set-up on Westridge/ ZZYZX! Don’t forget that today is your last chance to come and purchase a ticket at our early season rate of $48. That saves you []

Saturday on the Snow

We received 12-14 inches of fresh snow yesterday, making Bear Mountain the place to be this weekend! We have a packed powder surface today and the best skiing and riding in SoCal! We’re looking at mostly sunny skies today with a high of 39. Our park is fully-loaded with features for all skill levels. We offer the largest beginner area in Southern California, and have the highest lift served peak in Southern California! Need a couple more reasons to head up this weekend? How about coming to check out the Transworld Snowboarding TransAm event. It is the last stop of []
