Bear is now closed for the winter season

Well Bear Mountain people, it’s that time of the year when we have to say farewell till next season.   We hope to see you around  Big Bear during the spring, summer, and fall.   There are plenty of fun things to do up in the mountains.  Come up to the Snow Summit Bike Park and Scenic Sky Chair on April 19th as we host our very 1st annual Kick-Off Party and hike and bike the day away.  The Bear Mountain Golf Course will open on May 16th one of the most scenic 9-hole course around.   Don’t forget about the 11th annual [...]


Events or Days

Today is the day! Neff Beach Bash is going to be in full swing today in The Scene. Come show us what you got and help us get ready for the beach season. Not only is the Neff Beach Bash going off today but Office Boyz, Red Bull Switch Board and Wahoos Fish Tacos will be here. Bear Mountain will be officially closed tomorrow, Sunday March 30th after 4:00pm for the rest of the 2013/2014 winter season. Help us celebrate the season and end it with a bang!


Gear Up For A Great Weekend

Come celebrate our last scheduled weekend of skiing and snowboarding for the 2013/14 winter season at Bear Mountain. we have two huge events planned. On Saturday (3/29) is the Neff Beach Bash and Sunday (3/30) is Spring Break Reggae Fest. Both event include drink specials, live music and fun in the sun. Unfortunately we no longer have terrain available for beginners. Only intermediate to advanced skiers and snowboarders only. don’t miss out on your final snow turns before beach season!

Due to extremely strong winds Bear mountain will be CLOSED today. We plan to re-open tomorrow during regular business hours.

We are sorry to inform our guest that we no longer have beginner terrain available for the remainder of the season. The “Beginner”, “Advanced Beginner”, and “Low Intermediate” runs are now closed. The runs that are open are for intermediate to advanced skiers or snowboarders only. We unfortunately discourage any beginners to ski or snowboarders on the intermediate to advanced runs. We have lowered prices on lift tickets yet again! see our RATES page [...]
