Sunday Funday

Have your Sunday Funday on the slopes this time around! Our conditions are still prime with some spring time riding. Also, snow was made on upper park run two nights ago. That only means our conditions have gotten better. Park Crew has been killin’ in the park, like always. There are a few new features in the scene, now that War Of Rails is done for. End your weekend right and come get some laps in with us. KROQ is storming the mountain today and bringing KONGOS with them for a free concert.

SNOW!!!

The temperatures shifted and it has officially started to DUMP snow! With the forecast calling for “heavy” snow throughout the night we can say with confidence that this very well could be the biggest storm of the season! It may take a little extra time traveling to the mountains tonight but hopes are incredibly high that it will be more than worth it! Stay tuned for more updates!

Wind & Lightning

Due to wind and lightning in the vicinity we have decided to close Bear Mountain for the remainder of the day. we plan to open tomorrow at 8am as per usual.

Completely Rebuilding Our Park

With over 6 days of snowmaking and a few natural snowfalls including 1 to 2 new inches overnight our conditions have drastically improved! All this new snow means we can rebuild our park. Expect big changes top-to-bottom throughout the week including a new double jump line on lower Park Run that is already open. Other new features include an up box to tank tap, an all new massive quarterpipe wall, and new jibs everywhere. Basically, the People’s Park is the best it has been all year! Make plans to check out Dos Equis’ Air Bag they have got set up []

Don’t Trip

When you wake up tomorrow it’s gonna feel like Christmas morning in the Peoples Park! Why?… because Park Crew has big plans for a serious change-over tonight! Not to spoil the surprise but there will definitely be new jumps, new and never before seen features and thanks to the snow a bigger, better, longer, wider park set up! A round of applause for the hard working ladies and gentlemen of the Park Crew!
