The guys at our jib factory have been working hard all summer and will have an extreme new set up for HDHR 2010, and Red Bull will be offering up $$$ for best trick on the Red Bull feature. There will be plenty of giveaways at vendor booth city, and Bear Mountain’s “Paint It Red” and The People’s “Cheers” will premier just after sundown. Bear Is Open This Weekend

Bear is open this weekend. Chairs 4 & 9 are open accessing The Park run, Central Park, Gambler, Exhibition, and more! It’s been an incredible El Nino winter with 12-feet of natural snowfall so far this season. The snow coverage is excellent and these So Cal spring conditions are great! Snow Summit will be open daily though Sunday April 25th, 2010. Tomorrow, Sunday April 18th is Bear Mountain’s last day of the season however; Bear Season Passes are valid at Snow Summit. The type of season pass still applies to the Snow Summit offer. Come on up and experience one of the best ski and snowboard season Big Bear has seen in a long time! And while you’re up here head over to Ego Trip Super Park and Westridge all next week at Summit, it’s legit.

Bear Open WEEKENDS Only

Due to business winding down, Bear Mountain will not operate midweek but will be open on weekends! Bear Mountain Season Passes are valid at Snow Summit. The type of season pass still applies to the Snow Summit offer. Snow Summit will be open through at least April 18th and possibly longer with 100% open terrain. Head to Summit today and get in some fresh pow turns! El Nino hasn’t given up yet. It began snowing early this morning with 3 inches of fresh powder so far, and it’s expected to snow several more inches today and possibly up to a foot. With all of this new snow and below average temperatures this week, the snow conditions will be excellent.

Ride The Park AND Ego Trip

Both Mountains are 100% open today with excellent spring conditions! Due to business winding down, Bear Mountain will not operate midweek but will be open on weekends! Still Plenty-O-Time to Ride

It’s been a plentiful El Nino winter which has set us up for some pretty amazing spring riding! Come on up and fulfill your Park fantasies at not one but TWO parks! Bear Mountain will be open everyday through April 11th then open weekends only beginning April 17th. Bear Mountain Season Passes are valid at Snow Summit from April 12th thru the end of the 09/10 winter season. The type of season pass still applies to the Snow Summit offer. Take advantage of Ego Trip SuperPark which is HUGE right now. It starts off with a Paparazzi hip which is eye level with chair lift riders, next is the 20 ft hand carved quarterpipe, tonight the wall ride will be replaced with the pole jam and further down will be a new step-down, hit the Bunny Ears and end on Ego Trip’s banana hip which puts you right into the big green tube. So enjoy your spring time at Bear and at Summit!

Today is the start of what is sure to be an incredible week on the snow. Yesterday’s 2 inches of fresh snowfall brightened up the slopes. The snow coverage is excellent, and with clear skies and temperatures in the mid 50’s you won’t want to miss out on some of the best spring riding in years. That’s right kids, Bear Mountain is still 100% OPEN, so grab the sticks and come up for some spring shred time!

Brief return to winter today as Big Bear woke up to a light dusting of snow, with intermittent snow flurries forecasted this morning then clearing up later this afternoon. Hwy 330 is still closed due to construction, please use alternate routes Hwy 38 from Redlands or Hwy 18 from the High Desert thru Lucerne. These routes are currently OPEN with no chain resrtictions.
