New Features Are Popping Up Everywhere!

If the last two snowfalls weren’t good enough news, we have more good news on the way! Our Park Staff has been working all night, EVERY night, to make sure our mountain is full of jibs and snow features for all of you to enjoy. Our current count is up to 30 jibs and 6 snow features across the mountain. The crew has been building and installing new features daily, so don’t be surprised if that count rises for the weekend (take that as a hint). Rumor has it, our favorites like The Step Up on Express Way and the []


90% Chance Of Snow

Bear Vitals for Wednesday Tickets and rental opens: 8:30 am Chair Lift Hours: 9:00 am to 4:00 pm New Snow: 90% chance of snow for Wednesday Surface: Machine Groomed Packed Powder Snow Depth: 10-20″ Looks like it’s gonna snow tonight and if the conditions allow, our snowmakers will be putting in some time. It only takes just 5 minutes to make enough snow to fill a swimming pool. Easy Street along with chair 6 has opened for beginners and chairs 1 and 9 will get you to 30 “Bear Built” features. Chance of Snow Today

  We’ve been making real snow all night and there’s a 30% chance that mother nature might bless us with more snow this afternoon. It’s gonna be a good week for the white stuff. CalTrans reports significant delays and closures on Highway 18, so plan your drive accordingly. Always carry snow chains when traveling through mountain areas. Like they say in Cub Scouts, “Always be prepared.” Ticket windows and rentals shops open at 8:30 am. Lift operations will starts at 9 am. The recent storm added to the base, making it 10-20″. Not Another Mundane Munday – Bear Is Open Daily

Bear is finally open for daily operations, blow off Monday and come ride. Park Run Face and the beginner’s area just opened today. You’ll get to experience the fruit of the Park Staff’s labor, 21 “Bear Built” features and we’re working on more. Earlier today, a new feature called, “Flowmaster” was set up right at Marion’s Tree. This new “Bear Built” feature is shaped like a wide up-down box with a propane tank at the top. At Bear, we welcome all levels of riders to continue your growth in the sport.
