The Story of Air + Style’s 16 Story Ramp

Air + Style is just around the corner and some of the best snowboarders and skiers in the world will be competing this weekend at an event that’s coming to the US for the first time. The competition will start atop a 16 story ramp covered in real snow that will lead to the launch. Before you get the pros to do this, that ramp will be constructed. You didn’t think a gargantuan ramp as tall as Godzilla would just erect itself. It requires tons of steel, a construction crew of hundreds to build something of this scale with city permits, legal red tape, and the []

Good Day to Leave the Beach and Head for the Mountains

You have one more day off, it’s a federal holiday. You can leave the patchy clouds by the beach and come to sunny skies in the mountain. Your attitude will change instantly. Look at the pictures we post on the blogs, look at the pictures from all the people having a good time without you on our Fan Photo page. You’ll see all the []

Extended Weekend Means There’s More To Do

While some people choose to honor the office of the Presidency by going to a cheesy car dealership for a sale, others will take this time for a short trip here for some big fun. We have 40 total trails open between here and our sister resort, Snow Summit. One day session lift ticket will give you access to both mountains and there’s even a free Inter-Mountain Shuttle that leaves every 30 minutes to take you back and forth between the two resorts. When we tell you that you have access to both resorts, one huge benefit is our night session at Snow []

Take Advantage of the Long Weekend and the Best Conditions

It’s a long weekend with President’s Day on Monday. What are you gonna do with all that time on your hands? You really should take advantage of the conditions and come for a lesson here at SoCal’s biggest beginner area. If you’re beyond the lessons and want to just shred the park, it’s been overhauled and some new features are set up. There’s the Dog House above the Outlaw’s Alley, you can bonk the Red Rocket across from the hip in the Gulch. Also the Kragle, two boxes on top of a bigger box and The Scene has been reworked. []
