Extended Weekend Means There’s More To Do

While some people choose to honor the office of the Presidency by going to a cheesy car dealership for a sale, others will take this time for a short trip here for some big fun. We have 40 total trails open between here and our sister resort, Snow Summit. One day session lift ticket will give you access to both mountains and there’s even a free Inter-Mountain Shuttle that leaves every 30 minutes to take you back and forth between the two resorts. Take Advantage of the Long Weekend and the Best Conditions

It’s a long weekend with President’s Day on Monday. What are you gonna do with all that time on your hands? You really should take advantage of the conditions and come for a lesson here at SoCal’s biggest beginner area. If you’re beyond the lessons and want to just shred the park, it’s been overhauled and some new features are set up. There’s the Dog House above the Outlaw’s Alley, you can bonk the Red Rocket across from the hip in the Gulch. Also the Kragle, two boxes on top of a bigger box and The Scene has been reworked. []


Air + Style in the US for the First Time

Shaun White, born in San Diego, spent his formative years riding Bear Mountain. He was skiing until he followed in his older brother’s footsteps when White switched to snowboarding at age six, and a year later, he received his first sponsorship. White participated in three Winter Olympics so far. At both the 2006 and 2010 Winter Olympics, winning gold in the snowboard halfpipe event. He’s also participated in the Winter X Games, where he has won a medal every year since 2002. He’s also won in the Air & Style Contest in 2003 and 2004. Air + Style is on it’s []

Tomorrow is Valentine’s Day, and we’ve made a fantastic itinerary for you and your special someone because nothing is more romantic than a day on the slopes. The Dos Equis Air Bag will be back in The Scene tomorrow through Monday so you can finally nail that trick you’ve been trying for all season. After your day session, head on over to Snow Summit for a “Romantic Evening” of riding under the stars.
