Today was a great day on hill! It was a little overcast the past couple days, so it feels good to get one of those beautiful, so cal, sunny days; which makes for perfect filming conditions to stack footy for the newest web video. I know all of you have been keeping up on these things; or at least I hope you are. You’re the reason we make these videos. Well, if this all news to you, then you have to start visiting the Transworld site at www.twsnow.com. We post a new video every Sunday of our local team and friends shredding up the mountain. They are a lot of fun to watch and you could even learn a thing or two. You could discover a new trick you want to try, or a sick line you want to take. Either way, you have to check them out. Who knows, maybe you could be our next superstar…

Here at Bear Mountain we are proud to have the talent and diversity that we do within our video production crew. Bear’s videographers are constantly riding the park to capture some of the most epic footage for your viewing pleasure. Currently our resort has several videos on Transworld Snowboarding’s web site, one of which being the infamous “Sunday In The Parks.” Weekly, Bear Mountain videographers Mike Benson, Adam Ruzzamenti, and Lee Stockwell team up with a talented group of riders hit The Park to collaborate one amazing video. You Won’t Believe Who Is #2

Transworld Snowboarding Magazine recently announced the top five most popular riders on their website, twsnow.com. It’s not surprising to us who topped the charts but it will probably be a little unexpected to most. We’re amped to see that, we’ll call it, 2.5 out of the top 5 are Bear Mountain team riders and all five are season pass holders. In the fifth spot, we find Bear’s newest team rider, Joe Sexton. Skip two, including jumping right over Shaun White, we find longtime Bear team shredder, Chris Bradshaw in second. Taking the number one spot is Jed Anderson and while he’s not on the Bear team, he spends a lot of time riding The Park. We won’t claim Shaun White even though he grew up riding Bear and Summit or Lucas Magoon despite the fact that he’s been known to spend days shredding Bear with the Midget Mafia.
