Central Park with 16 new features!

Chair 5 is open accessing Central Park’s Intermediate run.

16 terrain park features including the Up Flat Box- Side Car with a 30-foot Press Box and the Triple Beginner Box line.

Tickets are still at Early Season rates and are expected to remain at this rate into next week- $25 for Adults (22+), $20 for Young Adults (13-21), $10 for groms (7-12), and kids 6 and under are FREE . Limited ticket availability this weekend.

Snowmaking at every opportunity. As snowmaking continues, more lifts and runs will be available.

So grab your gear already and come up to Bear Mountain!

Hey Josh Mills here, first day riding Bear this season. So good to be back and enjoying the park with friends. This place is my favorite mountain to ride, cant wait to come back.

Schweet! Riding Central Park @ Bear Mountain early season, snow is good and the sun is shining! Skiing everyday is kinda like being a lucky silver ball inside an awesome pinball machine. With so many rider-friendly terrain features, I can’t help but having the biggest smile on my face the whole way down the run. Bear is the place to be, for sure.

Bear had a few hours of snowmaking early this morning. The snow is super fun and starts out machine groomed medium pack. 17 new features were added to Central Park over the last few days so come up and see what’s new up there. Both resorts will make snow at every chance possible. As snowmaking continues, more lifts and runs will be available.

Bear Is Not for Chickens

“Hey this is Chicken. I am a sales rep for Ashbury, Airblaster, Grenade and Academy. I came up today for the first time this season to have fun with the friends. It was a super nice day and super fun features for all. I love this place! Good luck trying to get rid of me. My favorite part was walking up to the lift and seeing a bunch of friends I haven’t seen for four months. See you tomorrow at Bear.”

Central Park Takes Shape

“The last three days here at Bear have been some of the best times this year, with all the new snow and the new features that park staff has put in. If you just look at the middle run and all the new features, you wouldn’t know it’s just the beginning of the season. Also, with the weather starting to cool down, I think winter is finally approaching. The park is starting to take shape and I can’t wait to see what will be next.”

More Overnight Snowmaking

Bear started making snow early last night and will run it out through early this morning. Central Park is getting royal treatment this week with fresh snowmaking and all new jib combos. Expressway, Park Run, Hidden Valley and the Boneyard have all been covered with a layer of white. As snowmaking continues, more lifts and runs will be available. Tickets are still at Early Season rates- $25 for Adults, $20 for Young Adults and $10 for kids.

The Pros are Back in Town

It’s a big day today at Bear Mountain, the park is newly updated and the pros are here to ride it. Today Bear’s Pro Team Rider Joe Sexton arrived with the StepChild crew and will be riding the fresh new features added to Bear’s Central Park run. Lauri Heiskari, another Bear Pro Team favorite and the Ashbury crew will be joining him. So if you’re out there today, be sure to keep an eye out for that flawless riding.

Park Fun for All Level Riders

Park staff has been re-working Central Park run and has added The Triple Beginner Box-Line on skiers left keeping it fun for all levels. The entire run has been redone and for the first time they’ve introduced a Multi Combo Box, which is an Up Flatbox- Side Car with a 30-foot Press Box- yeah… while you think about that one for a while we’ll be riding!
