Look for the show on Travel Channel airing in So Cal on May 1st at 7pm & 10pm. It will also air this fall in case you miss it.

Bear Mountain and Snow Summit are closed for snowboarding and skiing. It was another amazing year for the Bear Mountain history books and we want to thank you for making it so much fun. We look forward to next season and you can definitely count on some new features and new surprises for winter 2012-13!

Our 9th Annual Hot Dawgz and Hand Rails is coming September 22nd, 2012- this will be your very last chance to get your season pass at the roll-back rate.

Join us at the Snow Summit Scenic Sky Chair and bring your MTB! There are so many trails to choose from so get out there and enjoy the back-country.

Transworld Awards Bear As Premier Resort

For the second consecutive year in a row, Bear Mountain takes the Premier Resort Award from the Transworld TransAM series! Amongst all the stops for the TransAM in the last two years, no resort has been able to build a better set-up than Bear Mountain and our park staff. We’d like to thank Clayton Shoemaker, Dan Nielson, and the rest of the Bear Mountain park staff for making this possible for the resort. Without these guys, Bear would not be Bear. Same thanks goes out to all our fans. If you weren’t here riding and entering our contests, we wouldn’t have a park to build. We look forward to taking this momentum into Hot Dawgz and Hand Rails 2012 and giving you the best, most exciting event to date! See you September 22nd!

Bear Mtn is Closed – Snow Summit is OPEN

Bear Mountain is closed for the 11/12 season. All Bear Mountain Only season passes will be honored at Snow Summit for the rest of this season, within your pass restrictions. It was another amazing year for the Bear Mountain history books and we want to thank you for making that possible. We look forward to next season and every season to come; and you can definitely count on some new features and new surprises for next year! Go have some fun over at Snow Summit and we will be seeing you next at Hot Dawgz and Hand Rails 2012 on September 22nd.

Hope everyone had a great time this weekend at the Neff Beach Bash and Ashbury Demo! Today is going to be a warm one with an expected high of 66 degrees. This week’s weather goes all over the charts with spring t-shirt riding today, and cooler temps with possible snow coming mid-week.

We will be operating Chair 9 with access to Park Run, the Halfpipe, and the Superpipe through this week. No other lift access will be available.

Looks like the Easter Bunny has an amazing sunny day in store for you with temps around 62 degrees. The Ashbury Team will be riding in the Scene and you can demo ThirtyTwo and StepChild Equipment today. Bear is expected to remain open through April 15th with Chair 9 accessing your favorite; Park Run! You can hop on over to Snow Summit’s Westridge Park too.

The Ashbury Demo

The Ashbury Demo is back at Bear Mountain! Be here Sunday, April 8th to meet the Ashbury team and check them out as they put on a show in The Scene. The Ashbury team is made up of some of the best rail riders in the world with some of the craziest tricks and smoothest style. The list of riders is pretty intimidating to any team in snowboarding, but that is the way Ashbury rolls… The team’s pros and ams will be flying from all over the country to ride in this demo and get some sunny So Cal laps in, but they are counting on you to come hang out and make it a party. It will definitely be a lot of fun and it will definitely be a good watch; see you here Bear fans!

Neff & HyperCrush Today!

Let the weekend festivities begin! Today we have the Neff Beach Bash w/ HYPER CRUSH then tomorrow we have The Ashbury Demo. The snow coverage is very good on most of the runs and there are plenty of park features for all. We’ll be lapping under the SoCal sun and 63 degrees today, and tomorrow the high is 66!

Nearly all runs are open through Easter then starting next Monday we expect to operate only Chair 9 through at least April 15th. Snow Summit is also expected to be open through at least the 15th!
