The Warning calls for periods of snow showers with locally heavy snowfall for the mountains above 5,000 feet.
What does this mean? It means Winter is back…Big time!
The storm that rolled through Monday dropped 9 inches of fresh snow and gave our snow makers several nights to make even more. The storm arriving today is taking a very similar track and will also allow our snow makers to do what they do best; ensure through hard work that you will find the best conditions for skiing and riding in Southern California on their trails. With this storm stalling over us for a day or two and our crew of snow makers, groomers and park staff giving it their full attention, you are in for the best conditions of the season. Done for the season? Not even close!
Save, Save, Save! Save your spot on the slopes and save cash on lift tickets when you purchase tickets in advance. You can save up to $15 per ticket by purchasing 24 hours in advance by calling (909)866-5766 or through our website.

Whoever you are, thanks for washing your car everyday. Four to five days of snow? Are you kidding me? It’s the set-up for a Bear trifecta.
Trifecta /traɪˈfɛktə/; any achievement involving three successful outcomes [Dictionary.com]
First of three events is to set the stage for the trifecta. That stage is a snowy mountain, dumped-on and covered. The storm on the way will bring us another blanket over our 12-24” base. Can you feel the powder days getting closer?
Second of three events is the High Cascade Snowboard Camp (HCSC). It’s the snowboard summer camp from Mt. Hood, they are sending their coaches and setting up a Private Park for at Bear Mountain. Camp is two days, March 7th and 8th, just before the TransAm Finals. There is a limit on enrollment so reserve your spot for camp here: bit.ly/1LHAxCd.
Third event is the wrap. To celebrate some good snowfall, the passing of knowledge at HCSC, we have one of the best-selling punk rock bands of all time performing on stage. You might know them through songs like “Self Esteem,” “Come Out And Play,” and many others. On March 8th The Offspring is “Coming For You” at Bear Mountain! “Coming For You” is their latest single and they are ready to share their new material as well as their classics. Also performing on stage Sunday will be The Orwells. You might have heard them on the Late Show with David Letterman or when they opened for Arctic Monkeys on tour. Sunday, March 8th will be the day to get in your morning sesh, then get as loud as you can and party with The Offspring and The Orwells.
That right there is a Bear trifecta. Buy your tickets now to ensure your spot on the slopes.
