Current Snow Report

It is officially the end of a great season again here at Bear Mountain. Huge thanks to all of our guests and employees for making it all possible. The park was top notch this season and the Red Bull Plaza received some major upgrades that made it a benchmark in street-inspired terrain parks.  With so many big events highlighting the season its hard to talk about them all! Analog's Design Unlikely Feature and Go Huck Yourself contests were a blast along with Volcom's Peanut Butter & Rail Jam. We saw our very own team riders Dylan Alito and Brandon Hobush compete in Winter X Games and cheered on as Alito took home the Silver medal. The Transworld Trans AM showcased yet another awesome set-up along with the Neff Beach Bash featuring a crowd-pleasing pond skim and ball pit. Snowboarder Magazine returned with 'The Launch" which was 4 days of the worlds best snowboarders that are under the age of 21. Kids half the size of adults boosted twice as high and made it look so good. On the freestyle ski side, we hosted the world's biggest rail jam event, War Of Rails. An insanely huge and dangerous setup was erected in The Scene with equally huge cash prizes going out to the winners. Thanks to Craig Coker and his sponsors for making an awesome event and a $15,000 check to the winner! With Summer on the horizon we look forward to our awesome activities such as golfing on the Bear Mountain Golf Course, the Snow Summit Scenic Sky Chair and new mountain biking options at Snow Summit including new bike trails! The golf course is expected to open May 17th and the Sky Chair's projected opening is May 25th. Be sure to join us for the 10th Annual Hot Dawgz and Hand Rails on September 21st, 2013. Keep in touch through our summer website in the coming weeks for more information. ParkStaffAtLaunch

Park Tips
SMART STYLE:1.) Look Before You Leap – Scope around the jumps first, not over them. Know your landings are clear and clear yourself out of the landing area. 2.) Easy Style It – Start small and work your way up. Inverted aerials are not recommended at BBMR. 3.) Respect Gets Respect - From the lift line through the park.
