More Runs Open Today

Welcome to the best snow in Southern California! Our last storm left us with 14-16 inches of fresh snow and excellent snowmaking conditions. We got so much snow that we can open more runs today! Chair 5/Central Park and Chair 6 accessing Easy Street and Learning Curve for beginners are open today with amazing packed powder conditions.  The Jib Pipe on Chair 5 is open and ready for jibbing!  You will also find some changes on Chair 9/Park Run with many more to come over these next few days. Checking In on Wednesday

Updated as of 11/30 at 12:00pm The forecast is showing today as our last spring-like day.  A Santa Ana is on its way in, which should bring us some cool, dry weather; perfect for snowmaking tonight through Friday.  Tomorrow’s high is forecast at 33. We love winter : ) We have new Bear Mountain team rider Brandon Hobush in town as well. This kid’s game is precision. Everything he does is perfect. Have fun watching him.          

Tuesday Checkout

Morning! We’re looking at a high of around 67 today. That’s a little warm for this time of year, but these spring-like sessions are a fun little treat before winter really hits us. In just a couple days, the forecast is showing dramatic drops in the temperature. Let’s all get hyped! Have fun out there! And let’s see some pics on our Facebook. Morning : ) Today is going to be sweet! It’s going to be super sunny with a high of 54. The People’s Park is all packed powder and ready for you to shred! Fresh Snow = Fresh Fun

What a start! We opened up with a TOP to BOTTOM park filled with jibs and jumps, and we were having plenty of fun with that. Now, with this new snow, it seems like we are just getting spoiled. We got 5 inches last night plus tons of snow making, and it’s not even Thanksgiving yet. We have a feeling this is going to be a good year… We’re excited to see what is going to happen tonight too.
