All You Can Ride for Less Than the Price of 2 Lift Tickets

Our deck and Beach Bar became one big party zone with spectators and competitors from today’s event. Beers were flowing, burgers were on the grill, guys were in shorts and girls were in tank tops. It was a good time for everyone! Southern California conditions added to the party as well as the heated battles between riders, but none of the got in the way of the comradery of snowboarders from all over the country. The Transworld TransAm finals were held on our turf for the final stop of the 2015 tour. The top men and women from each stop []

Attn: Pass Holders of Other Resort – Ride All You Want for $99

We are committed to deliver the most dependable snow conditions in the Southland. The proof of this commitment is the fact that our season is going stronger and longer than any other resort in SoCal. Imagine how the person must be feeling right now,  “Wrong Pass” from the resort outside of Big Bear (the one that’s already closed for the season) in hand and nothing to shred. You can bet there’s a feeling of resentment when you have the “Wrong Pass” while you hear the resorts in Big Bear are going strong. If you’re jonesing to ride, but you have []

It Ain’t Over Till the…

Our season is far from over. There are competitions and events we still want to do and we have plenty of snow to move and build. The Scene has been worked on all week and wait until Saturday when it’s complete for Transworld Snowboarding’s TransAm 2015 Finals. We have consistently won awards year after year for the TransAm build. When it’s “Bear Built”, there’s a higher standard and our Park Staff are committed to delivering. The feedback from you fuels the fire that keep them fresh and innovative. Here’s one of many encouraging comments we got from social media: “So happy []

Screamin’ Deal for Season Passes

It’s awesome to hear from you. Facebook, Twitter and the other social media platforms have made us more accessible to you. The encouraging comments are a major motivating source to keep our commitment to staying open well into Spring. Here’s one of many comments we get from social media: “Let’s get the Spring Screamin’ Deal pass sale going. People who chose the wrong resort this year wanna ride too!” (Mike Bronson, Facebook) Mike, it must be frustrating when you have a season pass to the place outside of Big Bear and they’re closed. Our season pass holders are still enjoying []

It’s Really Good Up Here

If the other resorts say that they’re “Temporarily Closed” do we have to say we are “Temporarily Open?” We’ve been open daily since the beginning of the season and we’re still going strong. We’ve invested more than $12 million in the past few seasons to advance our snow making capabilities, so that we can provide you more reliable snow quality and conditions…right about now, it’s paying off big. We don’t have to close, then reopen for a few days, then close again. Just like you, we also know that Big Bear is the dependable resort. We go through these laborious []
