You college kids working with a tight budget? Well we now have a season pass just for you! Red Bull and Bear Mountain are offering a Spring Season Pass for only $99! Bring your current college ID, $99, and your driver license to the season pass office at either Snow Summit or Bear Mountain and you can ride the rest of this season! Spring pass is valid anytime for both Snow Summit and Bear Mountain for the rest of the season. (available March 3rd) A snowstorm is in the forecast for Thursday through Saturday!

This Friday is the War of Rails qualifying event with the finals following on Saturday March 1st. W.O.R. is one of the worlds largest rail jams, offering an insane course along with big cash prizes and plenty of good times to be had on the deck. It’s hard to beat an awesome spring day at Bear with all your buds. The sun is shining, drinks are flowing at the Beach Bar, people are riding in t-shirts and bikinis, and of course the park is stacked with features for everyone. The Red Bull Plaza is still 100% open and the lower jib line on Park Run has been switched up a little bit to help it flow better in these spring like conditions. With over 6 days of snowmaking and a few natural snowfalls including 1 to 2 new inches overnight our conditions have drastically improved! All this new snow means we can rebuild our park. Expect big changes top-to-bottom throughout the week including a new double jump line on lower Park Run that is already open. Other new features include an up box to tank tap, an all new massive quarterpipe wall, and new jibs everywhere. Basically, the People’s Park is the best it has been all year! Better late than never! After a month long warm spell and a snow drought we are back to winter. Roughly two inches of snow layered our slopes Thursday night and cold temps ever since have provided perfect snowmaking conditions. This cool trend is forecasted to last over a week and we will be taking full advantage of it. We plan to make snow at every available opportunity during this cold streak.
