Some light snowfall is likely later this afternoon and our high is 39 degrees.

Today we have the Volcom Peanut Butter and Rail Jam. Registration is at 8am in the Board Room and the contest will start shortly after. Whether your competing or just riding today, take a few minutes to check the event out. There will be a lot of little kids out ripping it up and big kids blowing minds.

After the comp, head over to Snow Summit for holiday night session from 3:00pm-9:30pm. All season passes including Bear Only passes and non-holiday passes are good for night session, so make sure to get over there and check out Westridge under the lights.

“Hey this is Chicken. I am a sales rep for Ashbury, Airblaster, Grenade and Academy. I came up today for the first time this season to have fun with the friends. It was a super nice day and super fun features for all. I love this place! Good luck trying to get rid of me. My favorite part was walking up to the lift and seeing a bunch of friends I haven’t seen for four months. See you tomorrow at Bear.”

According to our very own fashion guru Ashley, there are many reasons for you to stop by Bear Mountain’s “Ice Box” for your new gear for the 09 – 10 season. The shop is having a 50% off sale on a variety of last season’s clothing and accessories. Popular brands include Roxy, Betty Rides, DC, Burton, Airblaster, and Nomis just to name a few. Ashley also gave us her “pick of the week” which included one item that was popular in the new girls outerwear section, and one that was at high demand for guys.
