Long Weekend With Lots of Activities

Burton Mountain Festival starts on Saturday. Take advantage of this weekends festivities! The Burton Girls will be here, you can enjoy DJ’s, take your little ones through Riglet Park, enjoy on-snow demos from Burton and get in the mix with the contests to win free swag! …and then there’s always our mountain for you to ride of course. Three nights of night sessions start at Snow Summit tomorrow. Take your Bear lift ticket over to Summit between 3-9:30 for a low-cost upgrade and stay on the slopes even longer! The Boys Are Back at Brownie!

Brownie Lane is where the gnarly starts, and ladies & gentlemen… the gnarly has started! Clayton and the crew have begun to build features for the People’s Park for the 2014/2015 Season. And next week they start on features for this year’s highly anticipated Hot Dawgz & Hand Rails which will be held on Saturday September 27th! It’s getting to be that time of year where we start dreaming of snow even through all of our summer’s sweat! Stay tuned for the latest updates as HDHR is only a mere 9 weeks away!


War of Rails Day 1

The first day of War of Rails kicked off with some heavy snowfall and even heavier skiing. Competitors tackled the elements and went on with the contest as if it were a normal sunny day. The course is huge but speed was not an issue and every person in today’s qualifier went all out to try and lock themselves into tomorrow’s final. At the end of the day Max Morrello took 3rd, Max Moffatt brought home the silver, and Joey Van Der Meer came up big with the win! Stay tuned for a rowdy final tomorrow and if you can’t []


End 2013 With A Bang

We have a number of events beginning this week, starting with our annual New Years Eve party! DJ Club George will be in spinning records all night while the signature cocktails flow! Did you know that any Bear Mountain pass is good for night sessions at Snow Summit? Summit has scheduled night sessions all week and every night at around 5 they put a fresh groom on the park run! The Celebrations Continue

What better way to spend your New Years then right at the base of the slopes! Bear Mountain will be having its traditional NYE party in the Boardroom Bar this Tuesday. Join us for signature Bear Mountain drinks, music, light snacks, and good times. Our parks are looking good with 109 features built for all abilities of riders. New to the People’s Park is our 7′ Half Pipe that’s in between Central Park and Lower Park Run. We also added features in the Street Scene this past week. Heading out of town today?
