If Only There Was a Repeat Button

Today was a blasty blast! The Orwells hit the stage right on time to prime the deck full of party people. Then The Offspring took the stage by storm and played a solid 40 minute set, they killed it. The Main stage was set up on the deck with easy access to the Beach Bar but the party didn’t stop there. The backdrop to the Main stage and all the action was The Scene and our mountain with the people spilling onto The Scene. One Hour Forward or Back?

There are so many things going on this weekend, this Bear’s head is spinning. Today was the first day of High Cascade Snowboarding Camp. Riders are getting coached on their skill sets, polishing up on maneuvers to get ready for the TransAm 2015 Finals for next weekend at Bear. Daylight saving time happens on Sunday morning, March 8 at 2:00 a.m. If you’re wondering whether to go one hour forward or backward, the term “Spring forward – fall back” should help you remember. The Weather is in Your Favor

Tomorrow marks the beginning of the High Cascade Snowboarding Camp. This is one way to prepare for the upcoming TransAm Snowboarding Tour 2015 Finals. While some participants attend camp to improve on the skill set they already posses, there are others putting in work to polish up for the competition. While the snowboard camp is going on, you’ll also see a big group of Scouts. The Boy Scouts of America will be here for their annual Scout Day where they will be afforded the opportunity to earn the snow sports merit badge. It Snowed All Day And Still Going

It’s been coming down since 9 am and it looks great up here. It looks like much of the same for Monday. This current storm will move along to be replaced by another system hitting our mountains by Monday night. Best case, glass is half full scenario, up to 2 feet of snow in some parts.
