Opening up more runs, ski and snowboard school opens…It’s on!

We’re gonna keep comin’ at you, so keep up. Announcing another trail opening is like opening a present. Park Run Face just opened up and more on the way. Chairs 1, 7 and 9 at your service today to get you the top to bottom experience. On your way down, you’ll see the work put in by the Park Staff, 21 “Bear Built” features including the latest, “Flowmaster.” Now that Bear is open for daily operations, the Ski and Snowboard School is ready and open for the first time this season. First Time This Season…Bear Ski and Snowboard School Opens

Yesterday we sold out! A bunch of you got here early this morning and caught us in the act of making real snow. It started out as a frosty morning, but the sun is now out. Great day to open the Bear Ski and Snowboard School for the first time this season. BAM! We are now offering Lessons with our professional instructors so you can improve your style on the slopes! Yesterday, was Opening day, first day for a bunch of people that came out to smash on 25 “Bear Built” features. Mmmm…We were putting together a list of all the So Cal snow resorts that you can ride from top to bottom. Do we even have room for this on the blog? No worries, it’s a short list. Happy Thanksgiving! Riding at Bear Mountain Fires Up Tomorrow!

  Happy Thanksgiving from all of us at Big Bear Mountain Resorts! We hope you have a great day and we can not wait to see you at Chair 1 tomorrow! Clayton and the Park Crew have things ready in true “Bear Built” fashion and we are sure our skiers and riders are in for a great weekend. We have more than 20 terrain features to ride already!   If you feel like rolling a few runs before or after the feast, Snow Summit is spinning Lift 1 for skiing and riding from the summit via Miracle Mile. The Snow Summit Park Crew []


HDHR Inches Closer

The course for the 11th Annual Hot Dawgz & Hand Rails (HDHR) has been designed and the Bear Park Crew is currently finishing up the last of the features. Their location for building all these awesome features, Brownie (which is currently living up to the title of “Feature Factory” from a few years ago park edit), is all decked out with the skeletons of jibs and other almost finished features!
