This Weekend at Bear Mtn

We’ve had a great opening week so far, but we made sure to save plenty of snow for you Weekend Warriors! Chair 1 is a great place to start your season, accessing a stacked park along Expressway, The Gulch and Lower Park Run. Chair 7 is also open accessing Inspiration run for beginners. Today’s forecast is partly sunny with some isolated showers, but we know a little weather won’t bother you die-hards. Rentals are available so you can head straight to the resort. There are no lessons today, but snow sports school is expected to open tomorrow and Sunday at []

Winter is Coming!

This week’s weather is starting to hint towards winter, with cooler temps and a chance of SNOW on Friday! If the forecast holds true, we may even be able to start snowmaking this week! We still haven’t set an opening date, but continue to check back as temperatures drop and snowmaking begins for winter season info. Monday’s Outlook

Hope everyone had a great time this weekend at the Neff Beach Bash and Ashbury Demo! Today is going to be a warm one with an expected high of 66 degrees. This week’s weather goes all over the charts with spring t-shirt riding today, and cooler temps with possible snow coming mid-week. We will be operating Chair 9 with access to Park Run, the Halfpipe, and the Superpipe¬†through this week. No other lift access will be available.

Neff Beach Bash Results

A big congratulations to the winners of today’s Neff Beach Bash. Men’s winner: Ryan Tarbell 2nd place: Ian Sams Women’s: Samantha Kotesky 16 and under: Dusty Herrickson More spring fun and the Ashbury demo comin’ atcha tomorrow! We’re looking at sunny skies and a high in the mid-60s so grab your favorite hoodie and pair of shades and we’ll see you on the slopes.

Nearly 3 Feet of New Snow!

Last weekend’s storm was quite the March Miracle. We received 28-32″ of powder. The sun will be shining the rest of the week and we are looking at a high of 35 degrees today. The cool temps are a plus because they will keep the new snow in its powdery state, so get out here and enjoy the good stuff! Don’t let the sun fool you though, it’s going to be chilly so bundle up!
