Another mostly sunny day in Big Bear, but not for too long… The forecast is calling for a 100% chance of snow this weekend! The weather is not expected to roll in until Friday night, so get up here tomorrow for a snowy mid-March powder session. Come enjoy midweek riding at Bear Mountain. There are hardly any lift lines or crowds, plus wide open runs and plenty of park features for all. Good day friends! Hope some of you got to enjoy the fresh snow yesterday, but if not, we’re been getting some more snow today. So far we’ve received 6-7 inches of fresh powder and it’s still dumping! We’ve also had snowmaking on the past couple of nights and conditions are great! Today’s forecast is a high of 31 degrees. Now get out there and enjoy. : ) All season passes including “Bear Mountain Only” season passes are valid at Snow Summit through Friday this week.
The snow has been great but now it’s even better! We received 2-3 inches of natural snow last night and had a great night of snowmaking. Today we get a little break between storms, but expect winter weather to return tomorrow and bring us even more snow. We’ve got a packed powder to powder surface and partly sunny skies today; get out there and enjoy the good stuff! Today would be a great day to check out The Bowl at Snow Summit. All “Bear Mountain Only” season pass will be honored at Snow Summit through Friday of this week.
