Chain control has been lifted on roads to Big Bear. Hwy 330/18 the front way, Hwy 38 through Redlands and Hwy 18 through Lucerne are open with no chains required.

While this El Nino winter has been very good to the mountains leaving record snowfalls and excellent spring conditions, the moisture has caused road damage on lower Hwy 330.
