We’ve also been making snow since early last night and expect to keep the guns all all day, weather permitting. Today’s forecast is mostly sunny with a high of 39 degrees. Santa’s big day may be over but we still have gifts for you. We received 4 inches of fresh snow today and the sun is back! The afternoon will be good fun and the rest of the week is forecast to be mostly sunny. Head to Snow Summit for Night Session every night through New Year’s Eve from 3pm-9:30pm. We receieved 10-12 inches of snow last week and have been making snow at every opportunity. The park is getting fueled up and now has 10 snow features and 21 jibs! Chair 9 is open with features from top-to-bottom including a two down bar jib-line, top jump, the Dog-House and more! Chair 1 accessing Expressway and The Gulch is also open as well as Chairs 6 & 7 serving Inspiration Run and lower Easy Street are open and the Moving Carpet is open for first timers. Old Man Winter could be making a comeback this week, with some good snowmaking weather and a chance of natural snow. If the forecast holds true, we could have Chair 9 open by this weekend! Track the storm HERE and check our website often for more information. You won’t need reservations if you are coming up midweek, but you can make them for December 15th and later. Purchase your lift tickets at least one day in advance HERE.
Another fast moving snow storm is heading our way bringing possibly 3-5 or more inches of fresh snow. The weather forecast shows sunny skies returning tomorrow and a chance of light snowfall on Wednesday. All of your favorite runs are open at Bear Mountain including Park Run, Geronimo and Exhibition. Now’s the time to ride the park. Both Snow Summit and Bear Mountain are nearly 100% open with excellent snow coverage and we’re only a tank of gas way round trip.
