Yesterday’s storm passed through leaving us 5 inches of fluffy new snow! It’s the perfect excuse to take a long weekend or start your Thanksgiving early. The park is prime, we have packed powder conditions, coverage is very good and the base depth is 1-2 feet. Today is going to be so much fun and you definitely don’t want to miss out on this bluebird day! If you’re planning on coming up for the holiday, make sure to make a reservation online to guarantee your spot on the snow.
There’s plenty of sunshine to go around with partly sunny skies in today’s forecast. There is a chance of light snowfall tonight and tomorrow with several inches in Sunday night’s weather forecast. Snow Summit and Bear Mountain have 7 lifts open this weekend and plenty of jibs and jumps on park run, and wide open groomers at Summit to satisfy everyone. Early season rates are in effect through the Thanksgiving holiday weekend so make reservations today.
If you haven’t been on the snow yet then WELCOME!! The People’s Park is stacked with 24 jibs and 10 snow features right now and there is something suitable for all levels of riding. As always, we want to make this season the best season yet for you so let us know what you think. Get your season pass, head to the lifts, and let’s get this party started! We received a couple inches of snow this morning followed by light rainfall however the storm is clearing out leaving partly sunny skies. The snow coverage is very good so enjoy.
Oh Yeah! Ligit signs of winter… fresh snowfall covers Bear today. While we will not be open this weekend, we do expect to make snow tonight and for several nights to come and we will announce our Opening Day as we get closer. If you want to come up and get your season pass so you are all set to go for opening day, you can visit the Snow Summit Season Pass office from 9-3 on Saturday and 9-1 on Sunday.
