Fresh Snow Today

The snow has been great but now it’s even better! We received 2-3 inches of natural snow last night and had a great night of snowmaking. Today we get a little break between storms, but expect winter weather to return tomorrow and bring us even more snow. We’ve got a packed powder to powder surface and partly sunny skies today; get out there and enjoy the good stuff! Today would be a great day to check out The Bowl at Snow Summit. All “Bear Mountain Only” season pass will be honored at Snow Summit through Friday of this week.

Tuesday’s Outlook

We got some new snow yesterday! It wasn’t what we were hoping for, but the storm left us 1-3 inches of new snow, which is enough to freshen up our surface. We’re back to sunny skies again today with a high of 43. The wind might pick up a little bit today, so be sure to cover up that pretty face of yours. Can’t mess up that money maker ; ). For those of you who are not familiar with our Facebook and Twitter accounts, check them out! The are monitored all throughout the day and any questions or comments will be addressed []

New Snow Today!

It’s snowing! We knew it would come around- it is winter after all. Today’s forecast is calling for several inches of white stuff.  As you know, Bear Mountain has had great riding this season with a deep snow base, all lifts available and nearly every run open.  The natural snow will freshen the surface and make for great skiing and riding.  If you aren’t here today we’ll be expecting you tomorrow for sunny skies and freshies!

Sunday’s Outlook

Welcome back sun! Well, not for too long… The forecast is calling for sunny skies today, but we’re expecting snow tomorrow! We never know what is actually going to happen, but the National Weather Service is claiming a good chance of snow this Monday with several inches accumulation possible . Let’s not jinx it, but we’ll hope for the best! As for today, mostly sunny with a high of 46. We were able to make snow last night so the surface should be pretty nice today, ranging from machine groomed hard pack to packed powder.  Have fun out there! Be []

Park Attack!

The mountain is in excellent shape. With so much snow to work with we’ve been able to set up nearly 150 features with jibs and jumps of every size. We have several different parks each unique from the other. The Skill Builder Parks on Chair 6 are for anyone looking to step into park riding. We have the Chair 5 park with the standard pipe and the superpipe is currently under construction. Chair 9 is the main park with features lined up down the entire run. Branching off of Park Run is the Red Bull Plaza. New to Bear Mountain this year, the Red Bull Plaza is []
