IT’S OFFICIAL! We’re opening for the 2013-14 winter season this Wednesday November 27th at 8:30 am! We will have Chair 9 open top to bottom with terrain features. This will include trails: Upper Park Run, Expressway, The Gulch, and Lower Park Run. Please note that the runs off Chair 9 are intermediate to advanced. There will be NO beginner trails available on opening day as Chair 9 will be the only chair open. Plan on arriving early as ticket sales may be limited due to limited terrain. Bear Mountain has officially opened! If this early park setup is an example of the way this season is going to go, then we are all in for an awesome year! The wait is over! Bear Mountain opens Chair 1 today accessing Expressway, The Gulch and Lower Park Run. We’ve got the park stacked with 15 jibs and 8 snow features, including dumpsters, downrails, tanks, a dog house, curve box, gateway with ledges, and more! Party with DJ Slip Matt at the bottom of Chair 1 where he will be providing tunes and passing out FREE giveaways too! Chair 7 for beginners is also open accessing Inspiration. The first snowmaking fan guns charged up at 3:15pm yesterday and started pumping out thousands of gallons of snow! We expect to make snow all weekeend long and into next week so gear up and be ready for opening day 2012-13 at Bear. We’ll announce opening day details as we get closer.
