Come Get Your Black Diamonds On! That’s right, So. Cal’s favorite Black Diamond Runs, Geronimo, The Wall and Olympic are now open! This weekends forecast could not be brighter with beautiful sunny skies all throughout the weekend. Our park staff is keeping it fresh with new surprises appearing all over the mountain. The Half pipe is now open, and the Mini pipe on Amusement Park is open. Big Bear Mountain Resorts has all lifts available, almost all runs open and more than 143 park features, all with just one area use ticket.

Most runs are open and new stuff keeps poppin’ up all over the mountain. The Half pipe is now open, and the Mini pipe on Amusement Park is open. Another great night of snowmaking last night with snowmaking on Geronimoooo! Keep in touch for Geronimo’s expected open date which could be soon. Come ride under beautiful blue skies today at Bear and Summit with 23 available lifts, 138 park features and the most open terrain in So. Cal. all with just one area use ticket. The snow is machine groomed packed powder and this week’s forecast is amazing all the way through the weekend so come on up and have some fun!

Today is mostly cloudy with intermittent snow flurries and mixed preciptation so far this morning. The snow is holding up nicely, and The Halfpipe was freshly cut last night and is now open for the season! Bear closes today at 4pm so when you’ve had enough at The Park, head to Summit and ride under the lights on Westrdige where Park Staff added new features this week including old school favorites like Wiseman and new features from our recycled collection. Tonight’s Night Session at Snow Summit is pending due to weather, a final decision will be made by 1:00p.m. Snow Summit night session is scheduled from 3pm to 9:30pm weather permitting.

All 3 routes into Big Bear are open and road condtions are as follows:

Hwy 330/18 from San Bernardino is open with chains required on all vehicles except 4-wheel and All-wheel drives.
Hwy 38 from Redlands is open with chains required on all vehicles except 4-wheel and All-wheel drives. 
Hwy 18 from Lucerne Valley is open with no chains required
