You made it! Welcome to our humble abode where 14-16 inches of fresh snow blanketed our slopes this week. The mid-winter conditions are EXCELLENT with nearly 100% of the mountain open. We regret to inform you that Bear Mountain will have a ZERO tolerance policy today for anyone not smiling! Hahaha. Yep, it’s hard to be bummed out when you’re surrounded by nothing but powder and packed powder. Yesterday’s storm left us with a total of 14-16 inches of natural snow on the mountain, not to mention the snowmaking that has been going down on the daily. Good day friends! Hope some of you got to enjoy the fresh snow yesterday, but if not, we’re been getting some more snow today. So far we’ve received 6-7 inches of fresh powder and it’s still dumping! We’ve also had snowmaking on the past couple of nights and conditions are great! Today’s forecast is a high of 31 degrees. Now get out there and enjoy. : ) All season passes including “Bear Mountain Only” season passes are valid at Snow Summit through Friday this week.
The snow has been great but now it’s even better! We received 2-3 inches of natural snow last night and had a great night of snowmaking. Today we get a little break between storms, but expect winter weather to return tomorrow and bring us even more snow. We’ve got a packed powder to powder surface and partly sunny skies today; get out there and enjoy the good stuff! Today would be a great day to check out The Bowl at Snow Summit. All “Bear Mountain Only” season pass will be honored at Snow Summit through Friday of this week.
We got some new snow yesterday! It wasn’t what we were hoping for, but the storm left us 1-3 inches of new snow, which is enough to freshen up our surface. We’re back to sunny skies again today with a high of 43. The wind might pick up a little bit today, so be sure to cover up that pretty face of yours. Can’t mess up that money maker ; ).
