Snowmaking Continues

Recent colder temps during the nights have allowed us to make snow the last two nights giving our open runs a fresh new layer. If you haven’t seen the park lately the Park Crew has revamped many of our existing features as well as added new jibs to Lower Park Run. Our Skill Builder Parks are open and provide a perfect taste of park riding for beginners. Also be sure to check out our 7′ Mini Half Pipe, a fun feature for all ages and ability levels. January is Learn a Snow Sport month so we are offering FREE rentals [...]

Hump Day

To help you get through your week we have added a few new features to the People’s Park, including the slanted C box and the bent down-flat-down rail. The black A-frame and Grass ledge have been re-positioned in new spots for fresh perspective. Today we will be opening Chair 4 with Access to Exhibition, as well as Learning Curve in the beginners area. We have added a few updates to our events page including the Party In Your Park event that will take place during the Burton Mountain Festival from January 3rd through the 5th. Stay up to date with [...]

That’s a Wrap!

It is officially the end of a great season again here at Bear Mountain. Huge thanks to all of our guests and employees for making it all possible. The park was top notch this season and the Red Bull Plaza received some major upgrades that made it a benchmark in street-inspired terrain parks.  With so many big events highlighting the season its hard to talk about them all! Analog’s Design Unlikely Feature and Go Huck Yourself contests were a blast along with Volcom’s Peanut Butter & Rail Jam. We saw our very own team riders Dylan Alito and Brandon Hobush compete in Winter X [...]

Time for the Weekend!

If you haven’t spent a sunny day in the park, you are missing out on a fun experience. It’s hard not to smile and laugh as you ride with your friends under the comfy California sun! Sure the snow softens up a little, but it just makes your landing a little softer as you try those new tricks. Plus with park staffs maintenance the features stay fun all day long! Lots of newness at the mountain right now with regular park changes including a few more last night! We also have The Scene primed and ready for tonight’s contest. Analog’s Go Huck Yourself [...]

More Park Updates!

Yet again our Park Staff has added to the mix! The top of Chair 9 is looking good with a new tall skate-style rail next to the High Cascade Donkey which got moved over. Expressway also has a new tall flat rail but this one is a normal lip to a double-barrel rail into the Big Flat Down Box  and step-up. The Gulch is going nuts right now with a wild SUV to Van feature, a down tube, the huge double creeper box, the hip, and a Double-Corrugated w/ Pole Jam to Tank! Lower Park Run is spruced up and now there is a [...]
