Sunny skies are predicted throughout this holiday weekend and thanks to recent storms we are able to provide excellent midwinter conditions. Park Staff has features everywhere and made some all-new changes in the Gulch yesterday. This weekend is gearing up to be a fun one so don’t miss out on all the action going on here at Bear. With a bonus holiday night session tonight you can enjoy the slopes even after Bear closes by heading over to Snow Summit where all season passes are valid for all nights!

Wake up to an all new Gambler! Last night Park Staff was out with the heavy machinery re-making the jump Gambler. The night before that they touched up the 3-pack after Gambler so the jumps are really fun right now! Upper Park Run is still stacked with down bars and the new High Cascade Donkey Rail. With our recent cooling trend we were able to make lots of snow! We are fueled up and loaded with 77 snow features and 66 jibs giving you a total of 143 different possibilities! We like to keep a fresh look here at Bear. Central Park underwent some serious upgrades this last week and you can expect more big changes coming to the rest of the park in the next week! Sunny skies and mild temps are in the forecast for the rest of the week which means perfect weather to come take some laps in our ridiculously fun park!
Today is partly sunny with the high reaching 38 degrees. The forecast looks good for snowmaking overnight and tomorrow. Central Park had some big changes this week and now has a sweet Slopestyle setup for today’s USASA event! The setup will remain after the contest and consists of a road gap next to a 30 foot flat box and then goes into a double jump line with advanced and beginner/intermediate take offs! For those of you who made it past day one, we are onto day two! Looking at the park, it’s hard to believe we have only been open for one day. Park Run is stacked with jibs and the vibe is kicking like we didn’t even have a summer. It’s funny how quickly we go from lounging around the house to full force snowboard mode, but that’s what makes these days so special.
