Weather is still cold and we have been making snow around the clock since late Tuesday night. Today we are opening Inspiration for beginners and plan to open even more lifts and runs tomorrow. Opening day at Bear Mountain went off! We opened with 31 features and an incredibly fun early season park setup that won’t disappoint. DJ Slip Matt kept the vibe alive with music in the base area plus he tossed out tons of giveaways from the Bear Mountain Ice Box Sport Shop and stuff from Neff Headwear. We gained another 2-4 inches of snow last night and have continued to make snow while conditions permit. New forecasts show another storm rolling in on Thanksgiving that could potentially bring some more snow! Despite the recent snowfall and snowmaking we don’t have a set opening date yet. Always carry chains and drive carefully while winter weather is in effect.

It is officially the end of a great season again here at Bear Mountain. Huge thanks to all of our guests and employees for making it all possible. The park was top notch this season and the Red Bull Plaza received some major upgrades that made it a benchmark in street-inspired terrain parks. With so many big events highlighting the season its hard to talk about them all!
